Below are summaries of lower body exercises and movements indexed in all of our fitness galleries. Gluteal, hip and leg musculature and joints are the general regions we define as lower body. Many of these movements aren’t isolated to just those regions. When there is one or more of endurance, coordination, or prime mover muscle work involving joints and musculature below the trunk region, then it’s tagged as lower-body.
